The long answer short, social media is just a unique form of digital marketing. But there is more to is that just trying to gain sales. You have to remember that you have to offer more than your product but what your “brand story” is. Plus social media is not a sprint race but a marathon. So once your brand/company starts, things will not change overnight or even in a few weeks, it takes time to see the ROI that you want. Also, know this, if you don’t do it, your competitor will.

There is no formal answer to this question or at least one the digital marketing industry can all agree upon. I have to give credit to entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, he once said “what is the ROI of your mother? The ROI of my own mother is everything. The reason I am able to do anything I do now, have the success I have, is because of my mother. The way she parented me is the reason I have the confidence and passion to do what I do. I can’t show you a deck or slides or metrics on that. But I am proof that the ROI of my mother is enormous. So, when it comes to social media, I can tell you: it will prove it”.
No. It’s considered extremely unethical and there are online tools to see if people have bought followers or likes.
It all comes down to the consistency of engagement on the influencer’s content. I would pick the one with the followers who are commenting and liking content more.
No. Because your target audience may not be on certain ones. Though the bigger the brand/company the more places online you should be.

Each negative comment should be handled case by case. For example one way to handle a negative comment, if they have a legitimate complaint, apologize and ask them to private message you to handle their problem.
